FAQs
The Category Management & Insight Awards 2025 are open to professionals and teams in Category, Marketing, and Insight roles. Whether you’re an individual or a team working across Foodservice, Wholesale & Convenience, if you’ve made an impact in your field, you’re eligible to enter.
All entries will be reviewed by a panel of respected industry experts, ensuring a fair, transparent and rigorous judging process. Each nomination will be judged based on the three core questions set out in the entry form. These questions are designed to draw out insight-led thinking, demonstrable impact, and strategic excellence. Every question carries equal weight, and judges will score each response out of ten. This means each entry can achieve a maximum overall score of thirty. Our aim is to recognise the most compelling examples of category management and insight excellence across the Foodservice, Wholesale and Convenience sectors.
The Category Management & Insight Awards 2025 will be held at Lucy Wong, Fitzrovia, chosen to provide the perfect atmosphere for recognition and networking. Full event details, including date and location, will be announced soon.
Please note that attendance at the awards lunch is by invitation only and subject to a nominal fee of £90 per person.
Nominations can be submitted online via our official awards website. Simply choose a category, complete the nomination form, and highlight why your nominee deserves to win.
Yes, all nominations must be submitted by 15th August 2025. Be sure to check the website for updates on key dates to ensure your entry is considered.
You’re welcome to submit more than one entry across multiple categories. Whether you're showcasing a standout campaign, team achievement, or innovative use of data, we encourage you to put forward all relevant work. The form allows you to submit one entry at a time.
If a single entry fits multiple categories, our judging panel will determine the best category fit to ensure it gets the recognition it deserves. Please chose the award category you think is the most relevant to your nomination.
The Rising Star Award is designed to spotlight emerging talent in the industry. To qualify, nominees must have worked in a Category Management or Insights role for less than 18 months at the time of submission. This award is intended to recognise early-career individuals who are already making a significant impact within their organisation and the wider sector. Please note that individuals with prior experience in similar roles or who have exceeded the 18-month threshold are not eligible for this category and will be judged in the ‘Category or Insights Manager of the Year’ award instead aimed at those who have worked in the sector for a longer period.
